House FengShui
I had my blog's layout and appearance a update, see if you can spot it.
Well, back to the housing problem, my parents have made a decision on which house to buy, which house will be their backup choice and so forth. However, I will have to say that beside looking out for facilities and the property price in the future, it is also worth taking note of the FengShui, the ancient science from the past.
Extract from Geomancy.net:
East - Green Dragon - Logically East is the location of the rising sun and thus a Yang location. The Green Dragon is considered the most Yang of all Feng Shui animals. It is encouraged that plants can be grown here.
West - White Tiger - The West is considered the most Yin of all Feng Shui animals. It is considered courageous and noble animal. It is also seen by many FengShui practioners as a fierce and determined animal.
Under the Landscape School of Feng Shui you will usually hear that for a house, on the East (the Green Dragon) should be higher than the West (White tiger) and the two should 'embrace' each other.
In this `natural order' it is preferred by FengShui Masters that the Green Dragon should be higer than the West tiger.
Eg. A building on the left side (Dragon) of your building should be higher than the right (Tiger). This is said to bring more fortune to the owner.
End of Extract
This set me thinking, why is left side a Dragon and not Tiger since left is West, isn't it? Also, if HDB is build that way, how to make it that one building is higher?
Also, people always think that the number 4 is inauspicious. However, it is said that the number 2, 3, 5, or sometimes 7, are inauspicious, and 4 is in fact a good number.
Whatever it is, FengShui is interesting and I decided to contribute to the new house by help looking for points to take note of.
