Bye 2008
In less than an hour, 2009 will come into my life without my permission. Another year has gone and it seems as if it's yesterday when I study for my final semester examination.
FYP has benefitted me in a lot of ways. First of all, I get to know fantastic FYP partners, with Ong the leader who is very resourceful, Cal our IT guy, and Jacob the organised and mood-lifter. I also learn how to deal with external parties more effectively. These knowledge will be with me and I would apply in my future career life.
Working in LUXAsia benefitted me as well, though the work I've done there I would consider insignificant, but I discovered how slow I get myself to open-up more to strangers. I need to have better social skills.
Working in CPG is my best working experience so far. Not only having CY to accompany, the pay is better and the colleagues are nice and friendly. I also know more about civil engineering and how to handle administrative stuffs better. Now I have open up my university choice to civil engineering since I have find it fairly interesting. Being in CPG I am also exposed to the employment market in civil engineering, which is cruel. Oh well, I think I shall see how until I get a place in university.
Being in Leopard company is also one of the most fortunate things I get in my life. Knowing my platoon-mates were interesting process. Finding them irritating initially and find their behaviour stupid sometimes, gradually I find laughters and start to open up to them more. I have also become physically fitter. NS till now has been a joyful experience to me.
Plans unfulfilled for 2008, I shall fulfill them in 2009. At least this give me more reasons to look foward to 2009.
