3rd Week in BSLC
Without the mid-week book-out I had been enjoying during the first 2 weeks of my BSLC, this week is almost unbearable.
Completed my live firing and I guess I am really not into infantry. It's kind of boring to me.
Sprained my right ankle at the shuttle-run startion during IPPT on Wednesday. Lucky it's only a light sprain but I missed my pacing and compass courses. It's very likely that I have to burn one of my Saturdays to make up for the 2 courses.
Had Navigation and Signal tests on Thursday and Friday respectively. Quite enjoyed myself since these tests are more interesting than live firing. Results are not out yet but I hope I passed. I am so not willing to burn my Saturdays even though I didn't sign any extra.
Beside spraining my ankle, the next depressing news is that I am not on the Fitness Specialist aka PTI Selection list. But I heard that it's only the first wave of selection so there's still hope for me! I must start training for Gold!
Supposed to book-out on Friday night but there's Sports Day on Saturday. It's boring for me since I didn't participate in any events (initially I took part in Tug-O-War), but it's a nice catch-up with Leopard-ians.
I also heard that MWO Jacky, Warrant Lim and Warrant Qieng have posted out of Leopard! I wonder how is Leopard now under new hands. Here I wish the 3 beloved Warrants will continue to excel in their work.
Hell-weeks officially started and I will be having my first outfield camp next week. Hope next week can pass really fast.
