AARM Opening
Slept for only 4 hours, I woke at at wee hours to prepare myself for the ARRM Opening Ceremony!
Being the Vietnam flag-bearer, I feel so honoured to be able to raise a country flag on such significant event. Though there was a little hiccup during the flag raising, I did not make the unspeakable mistake that other fellow flag-bearers are afraid of, raising a upside-down flag!
Undoubtedly, the AFC performance is a concern at the back of my head.
I didn't get to see their actual performance, but I have seen their training, their rehearsal, and their effort to put up a good show for our foreign guests.
However, it seems that our foreign guests do not find the PT display to their liking, giving the so-called "What the F**k!" expression and less than impressionate entertaining applause.
I feel so sorry for the FSs and CCIs, for my friends who have spend weeks of training under the hot sun. They deserve better audience, seriously.
Good news is that they seem not involved in Closing Ceremony.
However, with flag raising, there's flag lowering...
After my 2 days off till Wednesday, rehearsal for Closing Ceremony continues at the range and Complex duty on Friday night. What a tiring week.
