Short Bookout, Long Week Ahead
Book-out yesterday and reached home at 11.30pm. It feels good to be at home.
The week is short, since there was only some weapon live firing and training for SOC. However, I have to book-in in less than 3 hours time because I have section live firing tomorrow.
With the book-in later, my long week begins.
Tomorrow I will be having section live firing, Monday will be Exercise Wanderer, then Exercise Grandslam. It's a continuous 6-day action-packed activities waiting for me. It will be exhausting but I should take on these training with positive attitude.
Haven't I been waiting for these since the start of BSLC? After Exercise Grandslam, I would have come to the last of my BSLC training. Well, I am now at the 6th week going on 7th!
Despite training in BSLC for 6 weeks, I still can't shake of the pre-book-in restlessness. Especially today, I have been spending the whole day working on my navigation for Exercise Wanderer. It's either I am slow or the planning really takes a lot of time. Whatever it is, I hope my planning can work out well.
I am glad that I made the first step to complete my 3-month resolution. I booked my FTT earlier this morning. I was reluctant at first because I woke up late (at 8.30am). I planned to wake up earlier and reached Driving Centre at 8.30am so that I can be back home in time for my Doraemon. Determined not to break the resolution I've set, I decided to go anyway.
FTT date is not fixed yet, I have to book online because there is no weekend slot left. Dare not book Friday slot since I don't know which vocation I am going and the training schedule I am expecting. I can't possibly book a weekday slot and I am at outfield. The service staff told me to book the date next week as the new set of slots will be available. I guess I have a handful of matters to settle next book-out.
Have to go for dinner soon. For kind souls who visit my blog, help me to pray that it will not rain this coming week.
Never felt so ready to tackle challenges. May it lasts till the end.
David Alvis signing off.
