12th Week in BFSC

The week was good.

Began POP Rehearsal, IPPT and CPFT5.

However, I felt miserable.

I volunteered to be the ropeman for rappelling, out of fun and because it seems a slacker job. Of course I regretted volunteering when I actually get chosen. I rather be in the Log Team. Just too bad~

Later on, I became more involved in the planning of the Log Display and that's when my real misery started. I knew what would happen but I went on with it. The reaction from the course was within expectation, however the depression I am suffering wasn't.

I know I was getting detested. I know I was being man-marked. I know I start to hate my new job scope.

At times, I really feel like shouting at the Log Team, just to vent my frustration, but I know it's not their fault. We aren't on the same frequency of understanding.

I might look slack, commanding them at whim. But on the actual day, it's them who are impressing the crowd, putting up a fantastic show, while I will just be a stup*d ropeman who pray that no rappellers will fall. The audience might not even see my face at all.

Now I got a little taste of what being a not-so-nice guy is like. What a nice job I'm having. So nice that I hope I can change it. Seriously.

Though the week isn't emotionally smooth for me. But I am glad for the events outside the POP Rehearsal.

I finally got IPPT Silver at FS standard! Which means my 2.4KM broke the 11minutes barrier! I believe my latest timing is 10.40+minutes.

Hurray to Keith, ZhiYong, Kendrick and Edmund! They are the reasons why I am able to achieve Silver. They encouraged me, motivated me and paced me. I am really glad to have them as Section-mates.

Hurray to myself too, for achieveing Silver.

Hurray to WenJie, whose determination and efforts paid off. He got Gold!

Hurray to Suresh, who achieved Gold too. He is officially part of the FS Regular Team.

Yesterday, I had CPFT5, and I failed, as expected.

I don't expect myself to pass at the first attempt anyway, but it feels great to complete the whole mileage. Next Tuesday is CPFT6 and may my experience in CPFT5 help me to pass!

Hurray to Edmund, Nicholas, ZhiYong and Jonathan Ang, who have passed all veto factors and can declare themselves as FS now.

Hurray to Bennett, my buddy, who passed the CPFT5.

To Keith, Kendrick and WenJie, let us pass CPFT6 on Tuesday!

I want the goodie bag!
