Yesterday was AFC Cohesion Day!
Well, it's not exactly a enjoyable day for me.
I like working in the background to make things work, but I never like to be very much involved on the actual day.
The parade in the morning is boring. Having to wear Smart4 and put on the un-seasoned beret simply sucks. The FCCs guys came for the parade as well.
Though I told Shar that I have put it down, I guess I haven't.
Seeing them laughing among their FCC people, it hurts. I tried my best to keep myself busy, avoiding them as much as possible, but I felt even lousier because they are my friends yet I shunned them.
I want to ask WenJie how is his preparation for his upcoming basketball game.
I want to find Keith so that he can crack some jokes to laugh with.
I want to ask Ronald if his Spanish class is fun.
I want to ask ZhiYong if he is going Maniraj's birthday celebration.
I want to ask ZongHui if he has learnt to play any new songs other than the usual 2 "boring" tunes.
I want to congratulate Terry for passing his NCAP.
There's so many people I want to talk to. But when I see them, my lips closed together and put on a weak smile. It's still too hard.
Anyway the bowling is quite messy since the grouping was not disclosed to the participants when they are all in AFC. The game started after some delays but it's alright I guess.
After lunch is the community service work at Sree Narayana Mission Home. Until now I still have difficulty pronouncing the "Narayana". Anyway I guess I am not very responsible for my segment since I am in-charge of the home's matters. I really have to thank Cyrus for handling almost everything, while I helped to tabulate bowling scores and preparing the stuffs for the later part of the day, in air-con room. Oops!
I guess I felt the full impact of not being able to pass out as FS when CO express his thanks to Cyrus, along with Shar, KC and I.
"Though they did not become what they meant to be...", it's really devasting and I hope I can disappear from the MPH to hide my shame. I guess Shar is right, we are nobody in AFC and we are in fact leaving AFC soon yet we are planning such an event.
Anyway, the event ended with a "Good Day" and everybody disappeared so quickly as if a monsoon is going to strike the MPH. It's understandable since it is supposed to be their off day for most of them.
That marks the end of AFC Cohesion Day!
Not exactly a enjoyable day for me indeed.
