New Spectacles

My silver metal spectacles, survived for 1.5 year with me.

I thought it can accompany me into the army and salute to authority together. However...

Invasion of the mat black new spectacles that cost me $220!

Do I look cool enough?

Maybe I can capture some pretty hearts with this new equipment!

Let me think of a new killer pose.

The usual pose seems to be the best!

But can it really work?

Ever since I downgraded my camera phone to a typical "army" phone, life was hard. I couldn't take photo as and when I like. Though I am adopting simplicity in my life, breaking away from technology seems to be an impossible task.

For the photos above, I took them using my Mum's phone when she was temporarily possessed by Godness of Mahjong. Meantime, I shall introduce my new spectacles, which I named it "The Black Hawk". No special meaning to the name. Just that it's black and Sasuke changed his team name to "Hawk". Pretty lame I know.

Though there's nothing special with the name, it is special as in this is the first spectacles I bought using my hard-earned money. $220 flew out from my pockets over something I don't like, yet. Who will like something that is dull black plastic? I prefer my chic silver metal and it win hands down.

For those who are concerned on why Black Hawk costs $220. Blamed it on my astigmatism. At least 450 degree each eye, which need to be custom grind or made or something else. Breaking down the total cost, it's $180 for the lens and $40 for the frame. I wish LASIK technology can be more advanced! I believe I look better without spectacles, right?

Having settle my Black Hawk, my next financial goal shall be $1,000 in the bank! Is it too little? Who knows if I can even reach that mark given my spending habits. Packer job please come to Daddy!
