4th Week in BFSC

The week was so fast that my fitness level didn't seems to catch up.

Didn't do much tough training this week, I guess it's the recovery week for future training.

Ran the 7km Endurance Run on Monday, and as expected, I failed, again. But, my running timing improved, if I compare the result with 6km. This means I got to add more running to my training schedule so I can keep up the improvement! Hmnn, I smell RT-less Saturday!

I am honoured to have National ex-runner, Mr C. Kunalan, to teach us more about running. Of course, I have learn something interesting from him that is very important for me in order to hit my <10% Body Fat goal by POP. Though I guess it's kind of impossible given my current eating habits.

Anyway, in order for your fat-burning mechanism in your body to work. It's best that you jog/run at 60% to 70% of your Maximum Heart Rate for minimum an hour. Anything at a higher heart rate might block the fat-burning mechanism in your body from working properly.

Also, regardless if you run at 24km/hr or 12km/hr for a km, you burn the same amount of fat. I guess that's not very clear. For example, to move your body for 1km, perhaps you need 100 calories. No matter how fast you run, you only burn 100 calories after 1km, just that running faster saves time.

The two statements I wrote need further clarification and supporting evidence, which it's up to me to check it out.

I also learn how to do Aqua Jogging this week. It's not very fun since I am the slowest jogger. Seems that I will be the slowest if the exercise requires a lot of leg movements. Hope things get better next week.

Got to book-in in less than 5 hours time. Hope I am able to have the correct attitude to endure the coming training.

Endure and excel, FS!
