End and Start
BSLC has finally ended.
What did I do for the last week? I got myself certified as a Lifesaver. Not exactly proud of being one but I hope I can live up as one when the need arises.
I failed my SOC during first test due to timing and failed the second attempt cause I sprained my ankle, again, while doing the last lap. I doubt I can pass the timing anyway.
With this injury, I got excuse for walking the 28km Route March. Pro of having this excuse is that you don't have to tire yourself by walking the route march. You also get to hear interesting stories shared by the commanders when they are bored or in the mood. You really get to learn more from these stories.
However, the label of "Malingering" is slapped onto your face everywhere you go even though you really need the excuse. Can't blame the majority for that because I belong to that group when I am not on status.
So BSLC has ended, I have to welcome the start of another journey. My new vocation is Fitness Specialist (FS), more commonly known as Physical Training Instructor (PTI).
I didn't pass my SOC and my 2.4km timing is slow. I wonder why would I get into FS when I obviously flunked the interview.
Now, no matter how I feel are useless. I guess I have to adopt the motto "Endure and Excel" from now on.
This feeling is even worse than BSLC man.
